About

The uniFLOW printing system offers roughly 100 multifunction printers located around campus. The system allows to print and photocopy one- or two-sided documents in color or black and white, as well as scan and send documents to their UNIGE email address for free.

For example, in addition to their work uniFLOW account, which they can use to print work-related documents free of charge, UNIGE staff members can add credit to their personal account in order to print private documents.

Whether you’re on or off campus, you can send your documents to a printer using the “Print” feature in your program, as you would normally do. Then, choose any uniFLOW printer on campus and use your UNIGE ID card to log into your account and confirm the job to begin printing. This process ensures that printed documents are not accidentally left behind.

Documents that are not printed are saved in the system for up to 72 hours. When you log into a printer you can proceed with the documents you wish to print and delete those which you do not. Your personal printing account, linked to your UNIGE ID card, is only charged for printing jobs that are actually carried out. You are not charged for documents that are not printed, for example in the event of a paper jam.
