After enrollment or hiring, the university provides students and staff with their own file storage space linked to their ISIs account. You can then begin storing work-related files and documents in this secure location, where they will be saved on a daily basis. You can access the storage space from any device that is connected to the UNIGE IT network, either on campus or elsewhere, using a secure VPN and internet connection. It is also possible to sync and share your space with other devices, colleagues or groups through the cloud.
On the other hand, since early 2020, all UNIGE members have the OneDrive cloud storage solution. This personal space of 1 terabyte (TB) is synchronized with a local copy on their workstation, whether UNIGE or private, thus facilitating use and sharing with other equipment or between colleagues, particularly when teleworking.
