With the Uniliste service, users can easily send emails to UNIGE mailing lists, populated based on criteria such as faculty or department, office or class building, and job title or student status.

Possible lists could include all members of a certain department, all PhD students in a certain faculty, everyone who has an office in Uni Bastions, all library staff members, all second-year biology students, etc.

Unlike Sympa mailing lists, which are owned and managed by individual users, Uniliste dynamic mailing lists are populated automatically from the UNIGE user database. They are particularly useful for people who do not distribute information on a regular basis and are convenient because they require no manual maintenance and do not rely on your personal address book.
