DiSTIC hosts private, custom-size Windows and Linux servers on its secure and central virtual servers.

Several UNIGE faculties are already taking advantage of this cost-effective solution; DiSTIC currently hosts more than 80 servers.

Users can rent a server on an annual basis at an attractive price that covers infrastructure costs and includes support and maintenance.

We recommend submitting a request through your IT support technician, who is familiar with your specific situation. Please note that DiSTIC reserves the right to refuse requests that do not meet the university’s IT infrastructure requirements.

This service is also available for several cloud-based servers, vSphere (VMware) resource pools made up of IaaS virtual servers.

Server administrators can manage the features they need from a web console using their ISIs login information.
