About
UNIGE teachers can use Compilatio, an online software program, to help detect plagiarism in student work.
This software checks submitted work against open-access online content as well as other electronic documents provided by the user, such as other students’ work.
Compilatio searches for similarities between documents, analyzes its findings, and generates a report highlighting excerpts that may have been plagiarized, including exact or partial matches. The report also identifies probable sources used and the percentage of similarity to each source.
From the tool’s web interface, you can view your personal dashboard, which includes your documents and any analysis results. You can also launch analyses directly from the Assignments section of your Moodle class page, where students submit work.
