About
Secure access to your website by implementing the UNIGE Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication method. Users will then take advantage of the authentication principle deployed on most UNIGE services, using their usual ISIs identifier.
SSO consists of authenticating the user only the first time he connects to a UNIGE service. The validity of this authentication is then used when accessing other SSO-compatible UNIGE services. As the user does not have to retransmit his password for each service, ergonomics and security are greatly improved.
Depending on the website, different possibilities exist: use an already integrated authentication protocol (SAML2, OpenID Connect, OAuth), install an OIDC module or install the Shibboleth software.
